CEIBS is just a decade and half old management institution that was founded as an agreement between MOFTEC and European Commission. It was established in 1994.
Despite being a very young institution, CEIBS has been able to make its impression in the management education scenario and has been ranked top in the MBA ratings.

Located in Pudong, the emerging financial and commercial hub of china and as part of Shanghai district which is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, the students of CEIBS are gifted with a vibrant environment.
The work of world renowned architects, Pei Cobb Freed and Partners, first business school of Mainland china to have a campus of its own houses three academic Centres including 12 lecture theaters, 6 lecture rooms, 26 discussion rooms and 52 office rooms. The three storey library has over 23000 volumes in English and Chinese, 400 network connections and a seating capacity of 240. Other facilities include four well equipped dormitories that can accommodate 470 students on campus, an auditorium with a seating caaity of 300 and an attractive 2-level gymnasium.
